OMG! that was hysterical! i had to act out scenes in front of the camera lol! went ok i think but we will see, im certainly not holding my breath! all about the new experiences tho!! off out to sunbathe for a bit then to the chinese market x

finally i slept through the night till 7:30 this morning!! and i have been applying to all the local modelling agencies and have a casting this morning for a TV commercial!! will be a fun expereince even if i dont get it! then going to china town in the afternoon with rowan x

monday 30th

hello! well Owen has gone to Thailand for the week so im facing a week in singapore without him! missing him already but it will be fine. we went to sort out our short term visas today which was fine. I went back to the fabric market to price up silks and trimmings, so cheap for what you get and such beautiful fabric! need to get dress and bag making! have been contacting all the local modeling agencies to try and get some work, not sure how much work there is for white models here but we will see. got some contacts for events and marketing jobs so may be some potential work there too, fingers crossed! Rowan has found out about a running group on thursdays so we are going to start doing that-good way to meet people and get fit again! i was good and did my pilates this morning, starting to get into a routine-pilates, exploring, lunch, swim, shopping, sunbathing, dinner, bed!hehe! right off to read my book and hopefully get a call from owen when he lands! xx

owen and i had a lovely day today at the singapore national history museum, so learnt lots about Singapore, lovely place with guided tour on the headsets...although very long so we didnt manage the whole thing! then went to the marina area and had lunch and did a spot of shopping!about to try and get a simcard for our phones so we can use them here x

tonight

back from a lovely BBQ evening at Owen's work colleague's house. everyone was lovely and the apartment was amazing! the lift went directly into the apartment like a penthouse lift would!! lovely swimming pool in the complex too...so jealous! fingers crossed we sleep better tonight.x

ad a wonderful day today with Owen at the botanics, amazing flora and saw a black swan, lots of terapins (or turtles not sure!). also walked up on 2 chinese people in a compromising position in the rainforest!!!

awake again at 3am which sucks! went out yesterday evening with owen exploring and found some great new outdoor food places close by, settled on an indoor food hall though as found a great place that steams all your chosen veg/tofu/noddles! really nice and healthy. then had some frozen yoghurt with oreo bits...mmmm!! x

bogis street market

Rowan and I went to explore Bogis street market, which wasnt as we expected. I imagined a big outdoor market selling clothes and bags etc but we found  there was an undercover area selling dried fish and fruit which seemed to be wrking as a wholesalers, then we found an area called asia st which was full of open shops selling amazing fabrics and beads etc! was great. i got a few pashminas and did some bartering so got 2 for £6! hehe! spend the afternoon at the pool and back in the apt now editing the video i made of the market-i definately need to work more on my filming skills!x

jetlag

well it is 4am and im awake again! feels like i will never adapt to this time zone! owen is managing to though which is good. hes enjoying work and the people at his office seem really nice. we went out for a lovely meal last night with our friends Andi and Rowan, a great seating area surrounded by food stalls right in with all the locals, had some lovely noodles and veg and massive prawns! managed to get some sunbathing in today too which was nice at the hotel pool. going to the market today with Rowan which i am looking foward to. right back to bed for me! x

this evening

had a lovely evening with owen, went out for a meal in one of the foodhalls in the shopping malls-sounds rubbish but was lovely and loads of choice plus only cost $7 (£3.50) in total! then doubled our spending on 2 ben and jerrys!! went for a swim in the roof top pool this evening which was lovely. anyway trying to stay awake so can sleep through tonight so watching Pelham 123 x

singapore!

so we have finally arrived in Singapore! we have a lovely apartment on Orchard Road which is surrounded by amazing shops!! went out last night and had some lovely chinese food round the corner. all the restaurants are outdoors which is so lovely!weather is really warm but bareable and am loving wearing dresses and not needed a jacket and tights! went out with my friend Rowan today to shop and had a massage which is really nice. had milk bubble drink which was wierd but yum! basically milk blended with nice with wierd chewing sweets in it! will make a movie soon and post it up! found the market area so going there in next few days!! so excitedxxx
